Dyche was so smart adding Maupay to do just that. Arsenal never deal with his antics well

Why was it not a penalty when Maupay pushed Gabriel over in the box ?

Looks like most players spend half their time at the hairdressers or the tattoo parlour

i am slightly torn about this. i agree some Arsenal fans can be unbearable (any oppo fans can be) and do need reminding that Saliba is not better than Rio and they aren't as dominant or as good as they'd like to think but i'd love it so much more if the supposedly unstoppable city with Håland now fall absolutely flat.

i am not going to casually rationalise and dismiss success for financially doping sides because they have no history or whatever. fxck that.

also shout out Everton's black engine today. all 3 were fantastic today and any one of them could be MOTM

Yeah, I’m mixed on this. Always funny seeing Arsenal fans lose their minds. Their team is good this season, but they’re not 100pts good. They were due for a letdown performance sooner or later, and this was it. Also, it keeps the light on for us in the title race, even if it’s just a faint flicker.

On the other hand, I do not want City to win their third league title in a row. That’s our thing.

they're not full of world beaters but they clearly have a good system and good repeatable patterns of play but agreed the first half of the season pace isn't sustainable as liverpool found out.

still it's a credit to Arteta and them - the significant uptick they've had given they ended the previous season flunking the CL qualification test.

it has me really wondering where United could be if we have a similar uptick next season under ten Hag

I’ve grown numb to City winning the league so another wouldn’t really phase me. But Arsenal winning would make their already unbearable fans just that much worse. No thanks.

As someone who lives in Manchester I'm happy as long as it's not Liverpool ever again.

City fans are tame and many have become rather fat and jaded about winning the league. They know they should expect it and don't really talk about it that much. Whereas Liverpool fans behave exactly as you imagine them to.

Always will rather a result against Liverpool than City for the same reason.

I think the only thing that feels bad if Arsenal win it is genuine jealousy. They've been in turmoil/no-mans land for so long and are getting their shit together, yet we're only now looking like the start of another project after so many false starts, we shouldn't ever need to play catch up to them, and it's all down the fcking Glazers.

Very funny seeing Liverpool collapse so spectacularly this season. Sure they’ve had injuries, but they should be nowhere near this bad.

I hope Chelsea qualify for the UEFA Conference League.

    You'd have to ask Unai.

    20 minutes added time?

Poor Everton. They beat league leaders, get out of the relegation zone, then not even five minutes later Liverpool look as bad as we were last season and they get dragged back in. Good chance for Everton to get one over on Liverpool though next game, but only if they figure out how to score goals. They just might with some smart set-pieces. DCL not at his best these days.

liverpool now have a lower GD(!) than us. scored the same 34 we have.

    +8 to +6
    42 pts to 29 pts
    13-3-5 to 8-5-7
    3rd vs 10th

conceded 3 or more away for the 3rd game in a row according to post game commentary. and solutions nowhere to be seen.

    did they break the perch??

    Newcastle drop points at home.

What do you guys expect from Newcastle for 2nd half of season? No European football. But still lacking quality in middle of the park.

Worse than the first half, but comfortably in 4th by year end. Everyone else sucks more. I think they will struggle fir goals, especially now Almiron has come back to normal.
