https://www.skysports.com/football/...-transfer-window-in-case-striker-hit-with-ban to be expected after 262 charges i guess. i remember something similar happened to Daniel Sturridge for half a season? so he could miss a whole calendar year? more?
City win. KDB a monster performance as usual. Will see what the draw brings, but wouldnt be surprised if we get them next round.
https://www.skysports.com/football/...e-of-var-in-carabao-cup-after-man-city-defeat this was known beforehand but i see his point. semis onwards is a bit weird. guess it assumes it will only be PL sides at that point
This was the past with sales of top marksmen like Falcao, Torres and Aguero etc. Lately I would day they will sell their stars at a loss. Joao Felix will be cheaper than purchased for sure. Lemar too.

^ Goes to show what a good coach can do taking a relatively obscure player for the past couple of seasons and helping him become a standout performer.
I actually like Steve Bruce but the purchase of him from ATL was a good purchase as he was on fire for that club but he could never get it going on for Newcastle. I wasn't sure why but now it is clear.
^ Fair point, but I think Eddie Howe has done an amazing job. Joelinton is another who has benefited a lot since Howe has come along.

Pele has died. The most divine of footballers and joyous of men. He played a game only a few chosen ones have come close to. 3 times he lifted the most coveted gold trophy in that beautiful yellow shirt. He may have left us but he’ll always have footballing immortality.
