Would he even consider it?
I also read it on www.sport1.de. I think it could happen because i think the reason Scholl said he was going to hang up his boots at the end of the season was because he was constantly getting injured. As long as he doesn't get injured so often, i think he will continue in the next season and then play at his home World Cup in 06 (as long as he's selected).
He is playing very well now, but he'll be 36 in 2006. Guess that's not necessarily too old, but he should be more consistent to be selected.
It will not happen.
Scholl already turned his back on the National Team in 2002.
