I felt we needed a separate game thread from the overall tournament thread.

Surprisingly, we may get clear skies for this USOC game for once.

The discrete thread for the research project has been OK'd and the messages in other threads deleted.

Fire better win. This is my one night off this week and I can't wait to get out to Bridgeview. This might (will probably) be the only meaningful game the fire play this year unless they get someone who can score some ********ing goals and put together a decent streak. There defense is pretty sound most of the time and soccer is a low scoring game so someone going on a rampage could really benefit us. Is there really nobody we can convince to ********ing tear it up who can't get a shot elsewhere? Maybe one of these damn DPs can make their ********ing money?

3-0 fire. Hopefully in 90. I've never watched Indy 11 play before despite meaning to get down there for a match sometime soon. But, they still aren't literally in our league. But, that means shit I guess because I still remember the letdown of the bus to detroit a couple years ago. Might as well have been playing in an airplane hangar. Oh and is there actually going to be shlapst? And can we sing "Milwaukees black and tan instead of chicagos red and white?

Indy is in top form and have won the spring championship in NASL.

The NASL is in serious trouble - I'm hearing a few teams are on the verge of folding and many are fielding glorified NPSL sides . Indy has had some continuity and added a few pieces - so a previous awful NASL side is beating up a league that is in serious trouble and losing the talent war with USL .
But.. this is an awful run Fire team , that is hobbling along. On any given day I would wager a bottom feeder MLS side should have little difficulty with Indy ... but I just don't know where the goals will come from .

Congrats to them. Makes me need to get down there even more. Shame there isn't an amtrak doesn't have a ********ing train that get's to indy at a reasonable time. I would go in a heartbeat if i didn't get in at 11pm. We need demotion in mls. I'm sure if andy saw attendance drop form 15k to 5k he would give a shit.

Does doing you job as a mod (which you do well, btw), interfere with your other job as Joachim Low's personal finger sniffer?
(slightly more sanitary than ball sucking directly, I suppose)

With how hot it is out there today (stupid me walked/ran 5 miles in it this afternoon ) I think it'll be played at a conservative pace. I see a 1-0 Fire win happening...

LA galaxy announced an attendance of 4,700 last night. From what I saw, thats probably generous
    RSL announced over 17k
Portland 21k (they faced an MLS opponent)

Who wants to place a bet on what the Fire will announce? Given the opponent, I feel they can top 5k, but I doubt they get to 5 digits.

I did the math and that's three bad decisions.

If those "5 digits" are all middle fingers, I agree with you.

I was going to the game tonight, as it is a "bonus game" for my season tickets, but I have way too much work, now that I have returned from my drinking trip through New England.

Chicago's line-up just got released, I don't know your players well enough to say, is it a B team or is it mostly first choice players?
