One could almost start a thread on it.

JJ is suspended. Stevie C. is not in the 18.

    1:0 to Schalke at half-time.

So, I was watching the game and it basically sucked. Poor passing, lots of yellows, few scoring chances. Then the Russian announcer says, "The same thing happened in the season opener. Just awful for the 45, then a total barn burner for the second".

And I am thinking, "Hah, what are the odds of this happening for the second time in a row?"

So, I turned my PC off.

Well, it ended 5:4 in Schalke's favor.

Holtby who will be playing with Dempsey at Tottenham next season had a particularly good game. Two assist and a goal. He's faster than I thought; he can lead a fast break, actually.

I thought all the hype about him was overstated...but he's good. Spurs did good to get him on a free.

Lots of talk in Germany, that Tottenham will already bring Holtby in this transfer window.
