Ah, winter is coming, the time we Dutch throw our clothes off, like yesterday VIDEO Streaker legt duel Rijnsburgse Boys-AFC stil 12:02 Bijna altijd zijn het mannen die een sportwedstrijd verstoren door in hun blote kont het veld op te rennen, vaak het gevolg van een weddenschap.
Maybe my eyes deceive me, but looks like implants. I default to you of course. Dutch women are too tall
Not quite sure if I understand your question right. But yes we have a Marine unit. The Norwegian "defence" as we call it is divided in four blocks. I've read quite a few stories about your SF (during their time in Afghanistan). Top notch unit. By Marines i just mean the equivalent of a Marine Corps. I know the Dutch and British are more similar than the US Marines. And I read that your guys (Coastal Rangers) are elite to a degree. Like Commandos out of the British sense of it. Somewhere I read that the British and Dutch Marines perform a role more (related to) US Army Rangers than what we'd think of when we hear "Marines". I'm still amazed at how many troops you sent on UN and NATO missions in the past 15 years despite having only 1 combat brigade. Quite a heavy commitment.
Nothing new . They will most likely board it today. Other than that mostly humour on behalf on the Military
I think the Norwegian special forced hold hi standards . Much due to the the help over the years from allies and friends I think I guess we have Costal Ranger ang Marines. Due to the strategic position Norway have , and the fact that we are a very small Nation we have to contribute where we can to gain the support we need I bad situations . Norwegians are not known for their reluctance to fight for what they believe in
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kystjegerkommandoen These guys. I should have posted it prior. Hardcore Vikings but maybe the Danes might try and take that title
The most well known Danish special forces are the (Jæger) Jaegers who have won several training competitions against the English SAS and US Navy SEALs in the past... but the most badass Danish special forces are actually the Frogman Corps, besides combat diving and swimming they are among other things all trained to be able to jump from one plane to the next while flying in case of a plane hijack ... and other crazy stuff like this ... Denmark spend the least money per capita on military in Scandinavia, but are the most active in NATO besides the US, England and France, which also was the case when Gaddafi was dethroned in Libya, where Denmark was the 6th biggest spender : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya#Costs But was the most efficient along with Norway ... Danish flights bombed approximately 17% of all targets in Libya (including the very last), the US 16% , the UK 21% and France 33%, Norway 8% ... Sweden is not a member of NATO and so do little to nothing abroad ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya#Forces_committed The top spender in NATO per capita besides the USA is Greece with more than 2% ... which will keep Trump happy ... https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/03/nato-spending-2017.html ...but Greece did nothing worth mentioning in Libya or Afghanistan and are probably the most ineffiecient military in all of NATO ... so Trump got it all wrong when he is only looking at the money spend on military and not on how efficient this money is actually spend ... and to be quite honest, much like Greece, the US is absolutely terrible at wasting money with no questions asked and to no effect when it comes to the military budget ... rather than spending more, they should be looking at how much money that just evaporate into thin air...
Great post. I concur. You Danes def play a fair role and punch above your weight. I feel that folks are def too over eager at how much members spend and not on how they spend their $$$. Like in Afghanistan, some nations sent a lot of troops. Some sent not so many. Some sent them to the more dangerous areas and others sent to the not so dangerous areas. Some allowed their troops to participate in combat missions. Others made it impossible to fire back in anything other than self-defense. Though isn't Greece's defense spending mostly toward buying weapons and equipment to counter Turkey. Not like it helps the alliance much. And I wanna say a lot of their spending is really just on pensions for their service members.
September if I remember right A little music and humor from Norway First a rapper from Bergen Kjell Inge Røkke gets a song. 60 Years old and one of Norways most successful persons . Startet as a fisherman. Erik Follestad , Former hockeyplayer for Vålerenga loses a bet , and have to make a song with Linni Meister . How was season 2 of that Occupied series? any really good crime series you guys recommend? I heard of one where it's a French female detective going to Sweden to investigate. As well as some british/swedish parody cop series from 2017/18?
Oh crap. Aksel Hennie. I remember seeing him in that film BUDDY back in 06. He should be a bigger star in the US IMO
