    Last week's game was the game that secured promotion. We needed a tie to win the championship today/game is still going on right now.

    I know that today's game is still on. Did you mean to say that Beira Mar are "winning" instead of "win 1-0"?

    Win/Winning can both be used, but yes, I suppose winning was better.

    Though we won 3-0... and are champions...

    In the end, Beira Mar did "win" :) Congrats on the championship, and hopefully they have more than a cup of coffee in the 2006/07 edition of the SL...
