Finally Stony Brook get a win. That's their first one of the season. Their record is now 1-8-1. That was the last game of the season at Seawolves Stadium. The rest of the games will be played behind the stadium in a cheap field. The final score was 2-0. I don't know how these people count their attendances. But they counted 185 people at the game. There was way much more than that.

How did the team look? Hopefully, now that they are in their conference schedule, they'll pick up a few more wins.

Don't be too critical of the grass fields there, they used to be of very high quality. It may not be as good for the spectators to play on the grass field, but the players may prefer it.

It's good to hear that the soccer team is drawing some fans; hopefully, they came for the soccer and not just to check out the stadium.

copaantl98 -- thanks for the reports on SBU soccer.

You're welcome. I'll try and report as many as possible. Stony Brook put on most of the pressure with Marist counter attacking most of the time. The game was pretty even with Marist getting the first opportunity. But Dan Ferrin made a nice save to deny them. After Stony Brook's first goal, they started looking better and better. I didn't think they would hold on, but they did.
