The toronto star gives some more details on the rescue operation, interviewing hospital staff. http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Co...geid=971358637177&c=Article&cid=1051643375850 I still shudder at what the evil Iraqis did to her - things like treating her before wounded iraqi soldiers, giving her the only surgical implants - absolutely shameful
They tried to return her to the Americans, in an Ambulance, but were driven back by American fire upon that ambulance? I see ... Dr. Anmar Uday, 24. "Everyone expected the Americans to come that day because the city had fallen. But we didn't expect them to blast through the doors like a Hollywood movie."
I don't know if this is old news but did anyone here the story on how the Domain names JessicaLynch.com, JessicaLynch.org and JessicaLynch.net have all been snapped up. Big deal I hear you ask, however they were registered by a man with a Jewish name in New York. Suspicious ? Well maybe not untill you hear that they were all registered three days BEFORE the story of Lynch's capture broke. You know what they say, don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Jesus Horatio. This is patently untrue. JessicaLynch.com has been registered to a "Peter Lynch" in Atlanta since 28 Apr 2000. It has nothing to do with that Jessica Lynch. JessicaLynch.net - March 17, not related to this Jessica Lynch (since the 17th was BEFORE THE WAR STARTED) - see http://www.missnycity.org/ JessicaLynch.org - ditto Jessica-Lynch.com - April 2 (day after she was rescued) Jessica-Lynch.net - April 14 Jessica-Lynch.org - not registered ... and I don't feel like looking up all the other possible TLDs. As for your "don't let the truth" line... I'm not even sure what you mean. But I can't believe this kind of crap continues to be passed around. It took me five minutes to debunk the story.
I also liked the line about having a still photographer and two cameramen along for the ride. This was a setup from the start. Ridiculous.
So you're believing employees of Saddam's government over the US military?? Interesting. Anyway, for a look at some liberal PC crap: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/002/629xnqei.asp
Get over it. They have been liberated, remember? Consequently, they are no longer employed by Saddam's government. All the Iraqi's love their liberators, right? I do wonder about the report that the military fired on the ambulance. What the heck is going on there? Confusion? Lies (by the Iraqi doctors)? Utter imcompetence (by the US Military)? I'm guessing, and hoping, it was confusion.

If you're asking if I believe the 7 Iraqui hospital employees, the answer is yes. I haven't heard the military debate their story. Don't you believe them? CYNIC ALERT! CYNIC ALERT!
You expect them not to fire on an ambulance? There's no magical powers preventing ambulances from being used as weapons. That's just the kind of thing Saddam would have done.
