http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-5115694,00.html Good to see the Saudis doing something -- I know I'm in the chorus when Dan Loney tees off on the Saudis, but I'm also going to give credit where credit is due. While I'm not going to pretend this will end the problem of AQ in Saudi Arabia, knocking off the leader is a good step.
National or International rankings? Perhaps top of the table in Saudi Arabia...but that would make him 2nd or 3rd internationally (Osama, Zarqawi, him)
Quote: "He (al-Hayari) was nominated by his peers, and following the death of those preceding him, to be the head of sedition and corruption in the land,'' the official said in the SPA report." In the event al-Hayari is unable to fulfill all the duties of "Head of Sedition and Corruption in the Land", the first runner-up will perform these functions.
It doesn't matter if Saudi kills all of Al Qaida, the world will still consider them a Terrorist nation just because of the actions of a few.. It's quite sad really.
