The Saudi Press Agency announced a 28-man squad for the next Gulf Cup.

Noor and Shamrani are back IN.

Yasser Al-Qahtani and Abdullah Shuhail are also back IN after injury.

Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, Faisal Al-Sultan, and Hassan Muath are OUT.

Finally, the first team regular (Al-Shamrani) is in and the substitute (Al-Sultan) is out.

Seems to be a pretty good squad.

No word on Kamel Al Mousa? What about Kamel Al Mur or Majid Bilal?

Kamil Al-Murr is in, but not the other two.

They're going to cut it down to 21 players eventually, though.

Isn't it ironic that we only chose a full-strength squad for this Micky Mouse tournament but not for the two home qualifiers when we really needed them?

But I like the Gulf Cup. We get to brag to all other gulf nations when we beat them. THAT'S MORE IMPORTAN THAN QUALIFY.........;)

Expected, espicially after the weak performances, they are going to do anything to get the NT back and calling the 'banned' players is the first move.

I am not a supporter of the idea of Noor coming back in the national team, i dont think he's going to be of any use.
No one mentioned anything about al bahri, and what about al harthi, i know he is injured though!
