At times when we are facing shortage of talents especially Strikers, Saudi FA has decided to increase foreign players quota to 8!!
The whole quota thing is bizarre. Max 8 foreigners in squad (7 on the pitch), 2 "mawaleed" (undocumented Saudis let's be honest), and min 5 U23. Talk about complicated and pointless. Of course the clubs are incentivised to maximise their use of the quotas, unlike in an open market like Europe.
Ittihad has made fiery of signinigs last week Hassan Muaz from Fieha Valdivia from Internacional Abdullah Shammari from Tawoon Jaber Eisa from Villareal
It would have had been better if the rule would have been to have a proper "Saudi" national in all major positions during the game such as at least 1 Saudi Striker, 1 Saudi Mid-Fielder, and 1 Saudi Defender (apart from Goal Keeper) at least on the field during the game.
Al Wehda have signed with Corinthians highly regarded manager Fabio Carille Former Turkish International Emre Çolak has signed from Deportivo La Coruna Venezuelan Rómulo Otero has arrived on loan from Brazilian Side Atleitco Minero Brazilian Marcos Guilherme has arrived from Sao Paolo Former Turkish Super League Golden Boot winner Fernandão has also been signed. But we signed Al Zouri so we're still getting relegated tho
Let Faraj go to Ittihad, and let Fraidy return to Hilal Faraj is clumsy and a bit slow in passing / movement anyways, Hilal can find more better player in his place
