I assume this will be derailed, but hopefully we'll see projects like this in the future. With economic cooperation, the Middle East can be as prosperous as the West.

considering Saudi Arabia doesn't recognize the state of Israel, this is a step.

Exactly . There are millions who would do anything to stop Israel from even stepping foot on their soil .

Holy Crap - peaceful, business and diplomatic relations between Jews and Arabs - you're right, we can't have that.

Well Arabs have good reasons not to trust Israelis . After all , look at what happened the last time Jews were allowed to enter Arab land , it suddenly became a country . I don’t agree with the philosophy of not doing business or not recognizing Israel but I understand why people would take these measures.

Look, if everyone thought like you, we would never have peace. It is time for Arabs to stop looking back and start looking forward, if we don't want another WW.

lol its funny because I just stated that its wrong not to recognize Israel and not do business with them but it seems like your too blinded because of your personal agendas on this forum . Millions of people in Israel and elsewhere such as the necons think like you and that’s the only reason why peace will never prevail in Israel of Palestine . We have peace in Iran and one day in Iraq but peace in Israel and Palestine is a fantasy dream and that’s sad.

Saudi prince buying Tel Aviv hotel, I honestly don't see the reason behind it, and I don't think Israel is a very popular touristic area, so it can't be due to a large profit that hes planing to make out of this purchase. Anyhow, this move is only going to provoke religious extremists to launch attacks on Saudi Arabia, which they already have in the past for minor reasons, though this one is extravagant.

/betrayal is the only truth that sticks.

Actually, tourism in Israel is on the rise and has been a big part of the economy. Just this January 117,000 tourists visited Israel.

A lot of statistics in here: http://www1.cbs.gov.il/reader/?MIval=cw_usr_view_SHTML&ID=432

ummmmm......do you mean to say, "look at what happened the last time Arabs tried to enter Israel." B/c unless black means white, it's the Israelis that should not trust the Arabs, not the other way around.

Jerusalem and the Dead Sea are major tourist destinations - everyone in my wife's family (parents, 8 adult siblings, their spouses and some of their children) have been, many of them more than once. I am the only one who has not been.
