Big day for our family - This will be our four year old's first visit to a "real soccer game!" Gavin and I are bringing veggie bundles for the grill and a lot of chicken to bbq. We want to make shooters too. Any suggestions? Comacazies?
If anyone has a canopy tent please bring it. I know scruggs is bringing one but with Duff out of town we'll be down one.
I thought you had to split your keys with Big Rob! I'm bringing 2 doz chix legs now marinating in BBQ sauce. Half I have sprinkled with Cayenne to give 'em a kick! GM
I wonder what kind of music we need to play to get R&B to dance like he did on the road trip to the Swamp.
Chico, I checked the basement, but it's not here. Sorry brother. I think my tent's out at the Bethesda store. Won't be able to grab it today. Anyone else have a tent?
That video is classic. The Northern Boys will be getting there about 4:30. I have a couple dozen sweet sausages simmering on the grill. See you all soon.
It was a great party! Glad to see everyone out there after four-odd years. Still going strong! One of these days, I've got to pick a game to go to that doesn't involve LA kicking our butts all over the pitch. Maybe Fake Salt Lake ...
Bringing the whole family to the tailgate and game was.... an experience. Thanks to all the Barra's who helped us keep them safe, kicked the ball around with them and taught them filthy soccer chants. The kids had a blast. We're whipped. We'll definately bring them with us again, in about 12 years.
Not exactly a G rating crowd in the Barra. My sister, brother-in-law and their three boys came to the Metros game a couple of years ago, when we crushed 'em 6-2. My sister told me my youngest nephew asked her "what's a bastard, and why is the referee one?" My oldest nephew told her "Uncle Jeremy's friends sure do cuss a lot."
