This Saturday's tailgate...what do people want to eat? I'm game for making lots of things, but I'm looking for ideas. Something different? Burgers and brats? You tell me.

PBR keg was just under $60, so if people want it filled...we could pass around a hat. Not free...but cheap beer if everyone gets together.

I could use a 6-pack of Woodchuck... Ben, Matt, Derek, I'm looking at one of you three for this ;)

And I'll actually be there to pick it up this time! ;)

Still trying to figure out if I can get off work, so count me out. Ben apparently is going to be in Rolla, so I guess he's out too.

F--- that! I'm out of town for the first game, therefore I can't watch it. I'm in town for the home game, I'm not missing another playoff game.

Chad-I got your ass if you will really show up this time. Cause last time I had to drink that stuff, and it's nasty!

The question is. Can we drain the keg? I know we put a significant dent into a 3/4 full keg last game. More people are coming with ben and I this time, and I know if we get a keg I can get more to come.

Traditionally you just take in your old keg (even if it has beer still in it) for the deposit and you exchange it for a fresh one + $35-$65. The distributor takes the old ones back, empties, cleans, refills and restocks the establishment. Consumer does nothing but pick it up, tap and enjoy.

Jace...we can use the van to transport the keg. I'm in for the keg. If everybody on this board pitches in a few bucks, we're good (or we can just make it part of the tailgate).

I'm pretty sure that enough people will show up and pitch in to cover it.

But, as I've learned from experience, the one who buys the keg runs the risk of losing money on it. Not to deter the keg idea, cause I'm in!

If you're going to be transporting it in the van, I'd get there early to allow it to settle down or we'll be drinking foam for a while.

If the back seat is in, it'll stabilize the keg nicely, along with the other stuff (the coffin, etc.).

If we're concerned about the cost, then we can make it a part of the tailgate and just charge extra for those who are drinking off of it...that way, those who are drinking are only liable for the $5 they chip in for the beer.

I've already got the pump, the bucket, and an empty shell to trade in. The only thing I have a deposit down on is the bucket, so I don't mind getting another keg. Include it or not in the tailgate, I don't really care how it is done, i'd just like to make back the majority of the money on the keg. PBR was $60 just for the beer (I exchanged shells on the last one, too) I dont' know if we could find something cheaper. ; no lite beer please.

We could pick the keg up right before heading to TSC, so it would be cold (as opposed to having been sitting in my living room @ room temp for two days).

Don't count on me, I must attend Jerry Seinfeld with female companion. I knew when I bought these that there'd be a conflict with something eventually. I send my roommate and his friend in my place to use my tickets. I'll make him aware of where you guys are in the lot and what the scenario is if he's interested. Although he has a jobby-job he's a tight a$$ and would probably like the $5 keg opportunity.

Give 'em He11 Wizards. I'll probably join the buch of you for the view party on Wed night though. (Malloy's)

    I'll definitely be there Saturday.

I have to get out of there quick after the game because it's a friend of mine's birthday and I'm taking her to a movie... but I should be there at least an hour and a half before game time.

Spoon- I'll have your money too.

Well, I got off work and I'm so there, and I'm so in on the keg. for $60 I don't think there will be any problem at all getting your money back, that's what.... 12 people? And there's gonna be some beer left over too.

okay, here's the deal...if i can get eight other people (I'm down for $10 of my own $$$ for me and my old lady) confirmed on the keg at $5 a head, I will get one...any excess money will go straight back to the Mystics. So far interest has been expressed by:

    Sam
    Ben
    Matt
    Spoon
    Derek
    Me & Katie

let's find three more people and it's a go...

Cool, i'll stop by Meyers today and reserve one.

It's on: Drunken Mystics part three: Belligerently Cheering on our Wizards to the Second Round!

$5 all you can drink: A great incentive to get all the people we can into the game.

For some odd reason I am having problems rounding up people to come. Though I am still working on it.
