Apparantly on Saturday 6th October our game at Villa Park is the only one from the Premiership to kick off at 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon.

Talk about the erosion of tradition, there'll be teams fielding no Englishmen soon....

    ....oh yeah.

(incidently Chris, do you want me to get you ticket for this game?)

Andy, I'll be busy being eaten by a Grizzly bear in Canada when that match is on.

It is illegal to broadcast a 3pm kick off live in this country, hence the reason for 5:15pm kick offs. Sky move the 'big' fixtures to 5:15pm so they can broadcast them and make loads of money doing so.

If more and more companies are given the rights to show live PL games then they will all want to move their games to 5:15pm so they can show them live, hence rendering the 3pm rule even more pointless than it already is, if that were possible.

God bless those people who brought out this law. It really contributes towards making the world a better place.

So the only sound to be heard in the PL at 3pm on that Saturday will be the boos echoing around Villa Park for our dearly departed Nigel :D
