A match against them has become the highest attended match in United history over the years as the lore has grown.
Winner, winner ... Harbour View from Jamaica's National Premier League I'm not tracking on this one ... a match against Portmore United?
DC United played them at the Soccerplex in the CONCACAF Champions Cup back in 2005. It was cold. Online and in talks with some, they remember it being an all-time cold event. I might have worn a jacket to the game. I had a long phase where I had to take the jacket off during play and stand in my team jersey.* It looks like @AndyMead was there. The kickoff temperature is listed as 30F. I don't remember it being worse than cold since I'm fine in the cold. *That's probably how I got pneumonia after a Virginia Tech football game.
I think the temperature was on the way up from the 20’s earlier in the day. My wife and I were definitely there, have pics somewhere to prove it, although the camera was so cold they come out blurry. Thx, Jay!
