I had Directv installed a few months ago and I love it. I'm in CT and had Cablevision, the cost is about the same but I get many more channels with Directv. Another thing about FSW I like is that they show some A-League games once or twice a week.
The only two drawbacks I've had is when they came to install it at my house, there is a big tree in the direct line of the signal so they had to mount the dish on a pole about 5 feet high about 10 feet from the house. It cost and extra $70 cos they had to dig a hole and is a bit of a hassle when I mow the lawn.
The other thing is during bad thunderstorms the picture blacks out for a few minutes including during the USA-S Korea game in the world cup.

I would love to get a dish, any type or service, but can't fathom the idea of no high-speed service. That's all I need is unlimited games on TV. I'd never get off the couch.
