Sasha and Danny on US Squad

Danny and Sasha were named to the US squad for the match against El Salvador next month.

If Pete V. hadn't been injured so much this season, I wonder if he would have received a call up as well.

I, too, would've loved to have seen Vagenas in the USA uniform, but my hope for Thug Life & Sasha is that they get a "decent" amount of playing time.

I do think that Danny will start & play the first half.

Think Sasha will come in as a sub in the second half, but wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play at all.

All in all, it's a good experience for both in terms of their futures with the RED, WHITE & BLUE!!

Speaking of the US-El Salvador match, anybody know of any "soccer-friendly" bars that will be showing the match in the L.A. Metro area??
