The best thing that can happen to CR is that Saprissa wins next saturday, in that way the tournament ends sooner and the national team can start training for the WC with a week in advance. Don´t forget we have a hell of a game on June 9th.

Saprissa won the apertura tournament, right now they are playing the clausura final, if Saprissa wins they will be automatically the national champion after winning both tournaments, the team that has accumulated more points during both tournament will be the subchampion, in this case Puntarenas FC. If Alajuela wins next saturday they will be the clausura champion and two more games will be played to see who is the national champion, (apertura champion vs clausura champion), and the one who looses will be the subchampion.
