In 1963 Brazil's Santos led by Pele beat AC Milan in Rio de Janeiro (not Santos' city) for the world title 1-0. Its looking like we may have a rematch in Japan this year. AC Milan (Known jsut as Milao in Brazil) is already there, now Santos needs to get by Independiente of Colombia and the winner of Boca Juniors x America Cali (Colombia).

I think it will happen and it will be great to see a young Brazilian team take on AC Milan, especially with Diego and Robinho.

And in 1963 Santos played with Boca Juniors on the Libertadores final, and it also can happen before getting Milan. And Santos (2003) has better numbers than Pele's Santos (1963)... So far this year we haven't lost any game, in 1963 we lost 2. Even our attack now has scored more goals than in 1963...
