I've never been impressed with Santini is good for him to go to The Scum. Now Arsene doesn't have to hear him cry about playing Henry, Vieira & Pires too much. He'll be crying about how unfair it is that Arsenal are so much better and beat up on his team.

hahaha not that i really care about either team its just interesting to see the french national team coach going to spurs. my friend, who is a spurs supporter, thinks that tottenham will attract french players like arsenal have b/c of this new coach and become the new arsenal of the premiership! sounds a little (or a lot) stupid. I dont know if that will happen but we will see. just his idiotic thought.

A good question raised as to who will take over the French squad. Something I hadn't thought of but mentioned by my eldest son the other night. Is there more to Sperzzzz's appointment than meets the eye. Making the announcement now, knowing that there is a month before the tournament ends, and knowing that AW has resisted the temptations from "La Ligas" finest, could they be trying to sow the seed of doubt, and undermine us, by trying to dangle possibly the only carrot that AW might reach out to grab, giving him 4 or 5 weeks of "close season" to reflect on?
Personally I don't see it happening but the thought might be there, and possible approaches made, particularly if the next candidate, maybe Didier Deschamps, or someone else is offered a "short term deal"?
After all, AW would still be working with TH14, RP7, PV4, SW11, GC22, etc.
I hope that I am a long way off with this thought, but maybe not as long as I would like it to be.

Damn you and your seeds, Jeff. No, I'm kidding. Hopefully this won't happen as Arsene has repeatedly stated that he wants to lead us into the new stadium, and he doesn't seem like one to break his word.

See now THFC supporters aka "those people" can't say a bloody word about the French taking over the English Prem. They only wish they could start pulling in all the hot French talent to save their backsides. Do they have a French forward, Koinutte (sp?)??? Oh yeah, he never really played much this past season....ouch, snicker.

As an Englishman, I find the title of this thread, which will be seen by many Americansl, embarrassing.

Can we please show England in a better light, by leaving out the abusive petty tribalism?

    Thankyou.

Well, we now know where Wiltord is going.
I have a feeling Tottenham are about to become Liverpool South - all marginal France national players should apply.
