another day, another link. i would suspect, as has been suggested, that he is just trying to force negotiations on a new contract. god knows how many people have used spurs for that very purpose.

Nah, I'm not jazzed about him, and he's not really interested in Spurs, we're just a contract wedge to leverage up his price.

    This is the interesting bit:

This may just be the club recognising Santini is only expressing an interest for his own contract negotiations with the French FA, so the club stick it to him by claiming other people would do the same job as him for a third of the price. Teach him a lesson for trying to use the club as a pawn in his games.

Yeah, that damn frog bum. There's nothing to suggest he'd do a better job than Houllier at the 'Pool, and he'd fill our team with third rate, over-priced cheese-eating surrender monkeys too.

    Santini, non!

Jumhead I don't share the same French hating that you do I guess. French managers and players (wether or not they bathe, eat cheese, or surrender) seemed to work for Arsenal.

Doesn't hurt that my girlfriend is a stinky cheese eating surrender monkey.........

Hmmm, the most disturbing thing is that if we do have a coach for 500,000 pounds a year, its probably not any of the top coaches we've been speculating about.

You haven't been on these boards very much have you?
I'm sure your g/f is a lovely person. My wife is half French and I too have French ancestry (my surname (thats last name to you) being Herbaut).

It was all said tongue in cheek. More tongue in cheek than a lesbian orgy.

    And I never said 'stinky'.

Yes, true about the wages. That's not too much.

But you might be surprised. Big sign on fee in leu (sp?) of bigger wages?

Beckham to Spurs, to link up with Brooklyn and Quieroz as his coach. Quieroz has been hailing Beckham as a centre midfielder. Beckham and MvB in midfield ;)
