    "Sand in your toes Cup"

    Format:
    Knockout tourney

    Seeded 1 v 8, 2 v 7, etc in first round. Based on today's standings.

    Two legged matches.
    Agg. score wins.
Tiebreaker is to go to the bench for highest agg. score from the bench! (this is new)

    Second round will be winners 1 v 8 vs winners of 4 v 5 etc; 2vs 7 against 3 v 6 (also two legged, agg. score)

Important rule: Bonus points such as triple captain, bench boost, etc WILL count in this tourney. But it means you have burned them for the season.

Final will also be two legged as above

    1st round
    1. Kopite Jrs vs 8.Eternal City
    2. Fergy Red Nose vs 7. Potomac Highlanders
    3. Stormin Gunners vs 6. FC Yankees
    4. Journeymen vs 5. BiggerBoat

    2nd round
    1/8 vs 4/5
    2/7 vs 3/6

    Questions?

Great format Mark, looking forward to this and I already promised my 1 year old son that I would win this. So there is no option here besides winning this cup and it would look great sitting next to my Dusty Cup from last season. I have FC Yankees in my gunner sights for round one, good luck to all:thumbsup:

Aguero or Giroud for captain this week? Need to play the hot hand and get the sandy cup off to a good start. Giroud it is:thumbsup:

Goals from Giroud and Iwobi vs Swansea, keep them coming! After what they did to Bradley I'd like to see us score ten more against them:thumbsup:

Missing Mane this week due to African Nations Cup, don't they realize that the Sand in your toes Cup is a higher priority in the fixture schedule! I will be filing a complaint, I need Mane back to win this thing. Fortunately Mirallas is looking dangerous today so he'll be starting for the second leg.

Eternal, are you planning to start the MLS draft league next month? Just figured I would check since you mentioned that there may be space for new managers, draft leagues like this EPL draft league are awesome:thumbsup:

Everton demolishes Man City, glad I had Barkley and have Mirallas ready for next week but Bravo and Aguero were pathetic. Now it's going to be a photo finish in the next leg vs FC Yankees, Pep is soooo overrated and Kun is the epl's best striker? Don't think so. Defoe or Giroud will be triple captain next week to advance my team to the semis:thumbsup:

Eternal was right about having the first overall draft pick, more of a curse than a blessing. First overall pick Aguero did nothing for me this week (nothing new) and left Mirallas 11+ bonus points on the bench instead. But we will battle on to the final...

    1st round, 1st leg scores:

    (1) Kopite Jrs 43 vs 48 (8) Eternal City
    (2) Fergy Red Nose 69 vs 53 (7) Potomac Highlanders
    (3) Stormin Gunners 66 vs 51 (6) FC Yankees
    (4) Journeymen 72 vs 74 (5) BiggerBoat

Close run thing in the first and last matches, but Fergy and Stormin look to have commanding leads going into the second legs.

Really unfortunate for Journeymen coming up against BiggerBoat this week.
