This is a great article from Dylan! The bit about Alvarez was first class.

    Go Quakes!

Glad to see the praise for Arturo. I thought he was outstanding in the Chicago scrimmage.

Awesome! I told Arturo last night that he had made a great impression on the fans so far. Ian was standing right next to him when I said this, and he replied, "I'm telling you, this guy is GOOD!" From the look on his face and the way he jumped in so quickly, I could tell Ian really meant it. Arturo is a great addition to this team!

Hallelujah and Hail, Arturo!!! I hope he stays with us for years to come and we get to enjoy all of the highlights he will soon make.

While I agree that Arturo looks to have some great talent, and had that fabulous run into the box, I think Dylan was really misplaced in making that THE story of the match. Obviously, the BLUNDER was the story of the match and he just kinda glossed over that.

I was calling for FY to put sub in Arturo for Lagos from about the 70th minute. Lagos started sucking wind and the Quakes needed a goal. Hopefully FY will be quicker to pull the trigger in the future and get AA more minutes.

We started calling for Arturo just after halftime, became a chant by the 70th minute.
