Pretty funny to see all the guys we passed on.

Oh, well, who can tell who's going to be good from a bunch of college and HS players? We've even had bad luck with Hermann award winners like Luchi and Wojtek, and they were allegedly the best players in the country in college (although I think difficulty of competition should be considered -- really, who did Luchi play against at SMU?).

Lucci can score goals (combine/pre-season last year, P-40 trip, SMU. He just never made the team so we never really saw it.

He looked great in that Cup game against... Atlas? whoever, the Mexican team that we lost to in the Champions Cup.

In fact, he looked really good. I was surprized he didn't get more time after that.

I wouldn't give up on L.Gonzalez. I think he has a bright future in the league. He will contribute to the Crew.
