Because of my incredible success with the "Noah Elliott" sockpuppet, I decided to name all my sockputtets "Noah". My next one will be named "Dr. Hippocrates Noah", after the holodeck character taking the form of Benjamin Sisko in the Deep Space Nine episode "Our Man Bashir". His defining characteristics are an utter hatred of butter cookies in tins, pastries with jam in the center, usurpers to the thrown who kill their brothers, and fine cut smokeless tobacco, combined with an overwhelming desire to destroy the entire world by collapsing its crust. But I think it would be too similar to me. Especially that last one.

I finally got around to watching the recording and I have to agree with you guys 100 percent. Problem is, the dork is not an announcer, he's not even a homer. If the Galaxtoscum ever field a cheerleading squad, they'll have to appoint Maxie as the captain.

Posted: The only thing that sucked was the inccident at the end of the game between some LA fans and a quakes fan. I don't really know what happened because all I saw was a quakes fan get thrown into the bleachers by a galaxy fan and then a whole group around him started kicking him when he was on the floor. It was horrible and I wonder if he got hurt, I just hate seeing this kind of behavior up close!

I don't know where you were but I was standing with the LA Riot Squad and the guy who got pushed was walking through our section and saying all kinds of nasty things to us. He then threw what was left over of his beer (about half) all over us. With all of the alcohol consumption that was going on an LA fan bumped him and they both fell down the bleachers. They fell right in front of me and threw me off balance a bit. They both got up right away and were seperated. There was no kicking involved. Some angry SJ fans started to yell things at us as they passed and when we tried to defend ourselves we were quickly told to shut up. The SJ fan was asking for something to happen, I'm not saying he deserved it but when emotions run high people do stupid things.

    That was amazing.

There was at least a dozen cops and yellow jackets standing around the Galaxy fan's pen and they watched this obviously drunk Quakes a-hole walk into their area and weave around yelling "LA sucks" right in the fans' faces. Of course something happened, but I was pissed off at security, and this a-hole. But certainly not at Galaxy fans.

Thanks for coming up. Bring more of you next time.

I was surprise to hear that most of you were glad to have us there. During the game most of the fans near us didn't sound too happy. The Ultras are something else though huh? all 15 of them. One guy wanted to get into it with us but he was escorted out by security. Long live the rivalry!!!

Well it's fun shouting back and forth, but of course we want you here.

i.e. "Fvck off - and come back soon!"

It just makes the lows lower and the highs higher to have other people who really care there - with completely opposed interests. Those minutes when you guys had the lead really sucked, so we blew up when we finally got a goal.

BTW my above post was supposed to be garnished with a "thumbs down" for that dickhead and his buddies in security.

    What he said.

We invited some of LA folks to the ClubQuake tailgate, and after some hesitation they came by. It was good.

No one was singing Kum-ba-ya or anything, but it's fun to hang out with fellow fans.

Whenever someone walks into our tailgate with an opposing team shirt, they're always welcomed with good cheer. As it should be.

Songs during last weekend's Earthquakes game

This question is for Spartacus or anyone else who knows. What was the song being played when the Earthquakes were introduced on Saturday? Also what was the song just befoe the 2nd half got underway? Just wondering.

    Thanks!

The team intro song is "Sandstorm" by Darude. I've stolen it for use at some SJSU events. The song right before 2nd half kickoff I don't recall.
