Benji, Daniel, Vierra, and Bouda - isn’t that four? My bad - it is three

the ref definitely seems to be applying two disparate standards.

 

I’ll take that for a first half.

Thevref is crap! He’s in love with Wankouver. Jerk!

 

While the WC 1994 team was honored on the field, these guys were having a reunion right in front of Ned. I have no idea who they were.

 

We’re getting completely owned in midfield and seem to be playing a little scared, afraid to play out of the back. Can’t string 2-3 passes together. I’d dump the 4-4-2 and bring in Harkes and move Bouda to the right. Or to the left and move Ricketts back to LB.

 

Beau and Bouda are not having a good night

 

We need more time on the ball, otherwise we're just waiting for bad things to happen. We're having to deal with way too much pressure...with multiple defenders on yellows...Romney is hanging in there, but it looks to me like Vancouver is looking to get Ricketts out wide on an attacker then go at Romney inside with another attacker...massive challenge for us defensively.

 

Also Paul Marie is not marking very well, I think a goal will come from that

 

ESPN tracker shows only Benji and Vieira with yellows.

 

Daniel got one, too. Same play Benji got his.

 

Part of the problem is that the ‘Craps are fouling us relentlessly and the ref won’t call them. Bastard!

 

Finally a yellow for Wankouver.

 

That should probably be a red card. We won’t get it, but it could be.

Daniel playing his ass off...hope he can maintain that level...we'll need it in this one.

 

We need some subs, just to get some fresh legs and give our guys a breather. I don't like how much Vancouver is on the front foot.

 

Marie was one of our best attackers. I don’t like this sub.

 

Berhalter hasn’t had a decent free kick yet.

 

I think Bouda will be an upgrade on the wing, and I hope Harkes can solidify the midfield. Viera has been too slow and cautious since the yellow IMO, it's part of why we've lost the midfield.

 

I’d have subbed Harkes for Bouda rather.

 

Bouda really needs to sharpen up...he's coughing up the ball too easily...exactly what we don't need.
