I hope to be there in person this time. Can't take another one of those UStreams. Make sure to be winter-weatherized because I remember the last game at Kezar.

I remember a game where Brian Ching turned into Thug Asshole as a Moe at Kezar. Wonder who that will be for the Sounders?

Where shall we all meet - central parking spot, or just Kezar Pub?

So the game is scheduled four days before the June 30th "extravaganza?" Ugh... I know Frank will use a bunch of reserves in order to rest his starters... If I were him, however, I'd give everything I had to beating Seattle in the next round. We do that, and we have a good shot at winning something. It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm not too concerned about the LA game. I want us to knock Seattle OUT.

Of course we'd like to knock out the SS...if we can do it with our third string players, whoever they are. Frank is not going to risk the starters. Maybe Sercan will rise again.

Id reckon thats true, itd be much the same as our lineup we threw out against the Strikers if thats the case. Could be a good match to get Salinas back in the swing of things. Only place id be extremely worried about is the outside back spots. Garza and Salinas would have to go back and help quite a bit.

    ------------------Bingham-----------------

    -------------Opara-----Hernendez----------
    Ring------------------------------------Suggs

    --------------------Alexandre-----------------
    Salinas---------------Baca--------------Garza

    ---------------------------Dawkins------------
    --------------------Gordon---------------------

Seattles got some pretty good depth themselves if they throw out their reserves too; guys like Andy Rose, David Estrada, Brad Evans, Sammy Ochoa.......its gonna be a game for sure.

It's not just that it's 4 days before the LA match, it's that it's in the middle of three weeks of 2 games/week that the team plays (and if the Quakes win on June 26, then they play again July 10 and extend the streak to 5 weeks in a row with 2 games per week, or 10 games in 32 days.

    Wed June 20 - @ Colorado
    Sat June 23 - @ RSL
Tue June 26 - USOC vs Seattle
Sat June 30 - vs LA
    Tues July 3 - @ Portland
    Sat July 7 - @ Dallas
Tues July 10 - next USOC match if the Quakes win June 26
Sat July 14 - vs RSL
Wed July 18 - vs Dallas
    Sat July 21 - @ Vancouver

While I'd really like to see the Quakes win the USOC, it's also important for the Quakes to get off to a good start when the MLS matches resume. I'd like to see a couple of the starters sprinkled into the June 26 game, particularly in the midfield or forward to provide some scoring punch. To do that, those starters would have to be given some rest in the RSL and/or LA games, though, and that may be hard to do. And given the schedule congestion, maybe the best thing to do is to play the Reserves and see if someone steps up and the team can win.

There isn't a team in the MLS I despise more than the sounders. i hope we give all the big guns a run for this one. Sounders will be playing on 2 days rest, and their game 3 days before is against the Timbers, so you know they have to start their top 11 in that one :)

IMO, we should put some importance into the US Open Cup and get ourselves in to the CCL the easy way

That's quite the packed schedule, but it's ultimately the price to pay for finally playing so well again, particularly if the Quakes continue playing so well that they also get into the next edition of the CONCACAF Champions League. :)

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

It is really hard to complain about a gift like this, but I hear ya. It is amazing how bad a lack of attention to detail like, "zoom" and "ball in the frame" can be. I expect the video resolution to be "camera phone" level, but that presentation could be way better with that equipment. :geek:

A vivid example of the difference between "pro" and "amature".

Holy crap, I didn't realize that RSL game was tucked in there three days before as well.... Yeah, Frank will pretty much use reserves then...

I believe the Sounders also have a game either on the 23rd or 24th, so it is likely they will be playing a B squad as well

I too would like to see them put a strong line up on the field against the sounders. We know they have to play the A - team at Stanford on the 30th, due to the marketing effort they will put into that game. If we beat Colorado on the 20th hopefully we can rest some players against RSL so we can come out strong against both the Sounders and LA.

Sounders are a Heritage Cup foe, so I intend to wear red to this match. I would love to see other Quakes fans do the same.

Wasn't the resolution as much (although that counted, too) as the constant stopping and starting in which ten or more seconds of action could be missed. This wasn't helped until I switched over to First Row Live. It wasn't perfect there, but it was a lot better. Your point about it being a good gift is well taken, however, it's certainly a hell of a lot better than nothing at all.

We played on Tuesday after playing a Sunday out of town. Sigi needs to curb the endless whining. If they call to change the date, Kaval should tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine.

I'm "sheltered". My condo building has Paxio (fiber optic) into our utility room... $48 for 30Mb/sec, up and down. I got to see exactly how crappy the camera work was, without the stop/start delays. (Actually the Wi-Fi in my place only goes up to 20Mb, but still, that's a sweet service for the price. Yay San Jose!)

Someone was also begging for the highlight video from the Ft. Lauderdale match to be used for the Minnesota Starts feed. I don't think that will work because the resolution was better and there is probably a limit to the frame size when trying to broadcast through UStream.

Just have the camera person who did that highlight video do the regular one instead of that knuckle-dragger who did the live feeds.

What was he doing with that woman?
Were they sharing a couple of brewskis as well? (The camerawork looked like it sometimes)

Yes and no. As much as I'd love to remove those arrogant seattle douchebags from the USOC, I would much prefer slaughtering the filth in front of 42 thousand plus and sending their fans on a long, miserable bus ride home. :)

Beating the filth comes first, everything else is secondary.
