Will trade four $21 tickets from sections high 220 and so, for two front row A, section 130 tickets. PM me.
F@#$ el-lay!! That said, I fear that we will lose, perhaps badly. We won't have Wondo, right? We'll probably go with the same lineup as last time. So unless we get significantly improved performances from several players (entirely possible), we're in trouble against the filth's salary cap abusing roster. GO Quakes!! - Mark
No wondo. We have atleast a third place game to play. I'm guessing that would take place on Saturday.
They are going to have Dos Santos and Magee, who are their top two goal scorers. They've got a lot of guys with goals this season, so I'm sure they'll be able to score. They have a lot of skilled players, they are much deeper than we are. Of course, they are somewhat cursed at Stanferd, so that might be a help to us. We really need to do some serious rebuilding this off-season, hell, picking up another player or two in the summer transfer window would be good too. Go Quakes!! - Mark
REFEREE: KEVIN STOTT AR1: CHRIS STRICKLAND AR2: KATHRYN NESBITT 4th OFFICIAL: ALEX CHILOWICZ The Earthquakes are 8-5-7 with Stott in the middle.
from mls.com OUT: M - Marc Pelosi (chronic tendinitis in left knee 2/19, out 3-4 months) - READ OUT: F - Mark Sherrod (left knee surgery 4/22, out 4-8 weeks) - READ QUESTIONABLE: D - Clarence Goodson (back tightness, DNP 6/18) OUT: D - Robbie Rogers (ankle surgery 6/20, out six weeks) QUESTIONABLE: M - Steven Gerrard (hamstring injury, DNP 6/18) QUESTIONABLE: F - Ariel Lassiter (back injury, DNP 6/18) QUESTIONBALE: F - Giovani dos Santos (quad injury, DNP 6/18)
In both these cases, the full range of expected absence is already exceeded. I was hopeful we would see Pelosi in the lineup for this game. Maybe for Chicago?
Goodson...again? Looks as though we got a parking pass for the VIP lot with our Stanford tix. http://www.sjearthquakes.com/stanford-parking If anyone wants to park on campus right across from the stadium and would like the pass, let me know, as we will be walking to the game.
No kidding. Between "Owie toe" and "Sore back" he has to have missed something approaching a season's worth of games to seemingly minor knocks. I wish they would be more forthcoming, because it ends up sounding very suspicious to me...
Depending on Goodson (who played ost of last season) and Muma (who missed much of last season) is just a ridiculous waste of resources. How much are we paying Goodson not to play? I only get that sort of deal when I get laid off. On the upside ... OUT: D - Robbie Rogers (ankle surgery 6/20, out six weeks) QUESTIONABLE: M - Steven Gerrard (hamstring injury, DNP 6/18) QUESTIONABLE: F - Ariel Lassiter (back injury, DNP 6/18) QUESTIONBALE: F - Giovani dos Santos (quad injury, DNP 6/18) Robbie is a good player for them and one of their starters. Gerrard is really inconsistent, so that might be addition by subtraction. Lassister is a backup, yes? But Two Saints is a key component of their attack. Plus, they'll be missing Zardes. We might, emphasis on might, pull this out. Go Quakes!! - Mark
