San José obtaining a vitória on Portuguese Heritage Night?

Los Angeles arruinar as festividades for all involved?

The Earthquakes building on their earlier El Califórnico triumph? FC drawing even on this season's El Califórnico race?

    Discutir.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

This game can also be viewed via the NBC Sports Bay Area app.

The first time you go there, it'll likely ask you to choose your TV provider (Comcast, DirecTV, DISH Network, etc.). If so, click on the appropriate logo and log in with your name and password as you would when logging into your TV provider's own website (whenever you pay your bill online and whatnot).

As long as you don't then subsequently clear your computer's cookies and/or cache, you likely won't have to log in again whenever visiting there afterward. :)

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

Barring some unforeseen midweek circumstance, the team will finally have both of its Brazilians available for the first time in a few weeks.

I love your optimism, but I fully expect us to get slagged.

If Chofis continues to play like a monster and Judson and Nathan both have good games (is Judson suspended for this one?), then we might have a chance. Still, we’ve given up seven goals in our last two games.

LaF@#$ maybe weak this season, but they are still ahead of us in the standings, they have scored more goals than us, they have a positive goal differential, and we know that they have some dangerous attacking players.

I say we go down 3 to 1, but I’m a negative Norbert, so maybe I’m wrong.

and if we win by 3 or more Bob and LAFC will agree to mutually part ways.

I’m sure Matías loves beating Bob, which we’ve done, what 3 straight times now? In Matias’s 1st year, when LA was flying high, Bob made some disparaging comments about Matias’s tactics (man marking specifically).

Yeah I get the feeling there is some bitterness between them.

On the part of Matias, I'll bet the bitterness is "Yeah, give me your players, or heck, give me your budget, and then we'll see about 'tactics'". :)

    From today's Press Conference:

    Alex Morgan@quakes_talk

Almeyda on Jeremy Ebobisse: "All of the tests that we ran on Jeremy went well. Now it’s up to him feeling sure. Very shortly ago, he had two similar episodes. He’s an important player for us, so we’re waiting for his confidence."

Almeyda on Shea Salinas: "Shea has trained normally with us. Let’s hope that he can reach Saturday in the best way."

(Alex Morgan wrote "Sounds optimistic about both Jeremy and Shea's recovery trajectories.").

I hope that Jebo and the team err on the side of caution. It's not that long ago Taylor Twellman was forced to retire after successive concussions, and this stuff is no laughing matter. Jeremy needs to be coldly realistic concerning his status in view of the fact that he has a long life ahead of him.

Yes. It would be great if he could come back and play for us more this season, but if he waits until next season, or even never, that’s fine. His health and long-term prospects are much more important than playing soccer. (Even though soccer IS life.)

    Good luck Jeremy!!

Espinoza's yellow vs Austin put him significantly closer to suspension...

"The following players are currently one caution away from suspension/fine:
    E. Remedi
    C. Espinoza"

I’ve got a condition too, but it’s not keeping me off the field. Just sayin’.

I expect LaF@#$ to beat us easily. They have a lot of team speed and we don’t. Looks like we’ve gone back to our man-marking system more, so LaF#$ will be able to pull us out of position and then take advantage of the openings they have created in our defense.

Yeah, 3 to 1 bad guys.

    Go Quakesfans!!
