@don gagliardi has the right attitude. Support Your team; don’t give a squat about the other guys.

I love heckling the other team. One night, every time Lothar Mattheus touched the ball I yelled Klinnsmann at him.

We shouldn’t be starry eyed over some wanker on the other team. F them!

    Go Quakesfans!!

Baron Davis is a DJ now? :ROFLMAO:

Quakes going all in on the "Davis's" - Baron Davis and Vernon Davis.

I see Baron has a few albums out as "Bart Oatmeal". I'm not a good judge of hip-hop but he seems not bad, not great based on my limited sampling. When you have a lot of money you get to do what you want to do, so good for him.

When GK and player/coach Walter Zenga came to town with the Revs, I kept yelling "Caniggia" as I was sitting behind the goal.

It was a reference to him making the blunder at Italia 90 when he came out of the goal......

On the one hand, bummer that this article is paywalled. OTOH, I doubt it's going to tell me anything I don't already know.

The USWNT stayed there when they came to Avaya prior to WC 2019. I went down there to get an autographed DVD of Alex Morgan’s movie.

Other than the usual hype, these were the salient points to me:
    • Messi = the biggest global name to play in the Bay Area in more than a decade
    • Suarez missed the Minn game and is not playing on Wed either
    • Messi et al practiced at PPP practice field on Monday
    • Messi was swarmed by fans in Minn
    • Cheapest ticket is $305 for supporters section
    • Biggest star to play a competitive game in our area since Pele with the Cosmos in the 1970s
    • Messi doesn’t run as much as he did at Barcelona but still controls the game

Hey guys, take note of the PPP clear bag policy, That was enforced on hubby when we to the LAFC game. LAFC forced us to check his cloth fanny pack into their bag-check trailer for a nonrefundable $10. Altho PPP has been letting hubby use this cloth fanny pack all season, this image suggests they won’t allow it any further.

For those of you going to the game, it sounds like you will have a great time. I think the people who paid $895+ ea for my seats will also.

Since Messi will probably play, I hereby absolve you of any guilt for selling your tickets for $895 to a game that Messi didn't play in :).

You will find no bigger Messi fan than me. Starting around 2008, I went through all kinds of contortions to watch FCB on TV, and I'm confident that I watched the majority of his FCB games, not to mention UCL games. I'm also here to tell you that Lamine Yamal is better.

He’s only got, what, 843 goals left to prove it? Messi’s longevity, relatively healthy career, and his high productivity at advanced age will be hard to match. He’s 37 and if he plays the next WC at 38 he’ll still be one of the best players at the tournament. He’s not at peak form but you don’t see a lot of degradation even at 37.

Yamal could be better at 17 than Messi was but can he bring it for 20+ years at the highest levels?

Baron's on to something. The best way to make a small fortune in music is to start with a big one...

Looking forward to watching this on TV.
