San Jose Earthquakes vs Fort Lauderdale in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Elliott Almond of the Mercury News:
Give Guamster some rep folks! If Lenhart is not starting this game then something is wrong. He really left the team high and dry last weekend with his stupid suspension. Playing in this match would be just penance, I think. I'd also like to see Chavez and Gordon getting serious minutes, if only to work them back into match fitness.
Injury report says that Shea is "questionable", so maybe he is going to get some time tonight. I'm not sure I would risk it right before the long break, but I am not FY.
If Quakes win this game, they would play the winner of the RSL-Minnesota Stars game. Oh BTW, Minnesota is up 3-1 on RSL in the 63rd minute. Video feed of that game can be found here. Lots of upsets in the Open Cup thus far. Egads.
