Maybe not "banned" not "acceptable" as they state during the pre game?

Yes, it’s so endearing when the seven year old who sits next to me chants, “f**k you ref”! along with the Ultras.

That’s a good point. This season the Ultras are chanting “FU ref” instead of “Ref u suck”. I was hoping the quakes would put a stop to the FU chant, but they don’t seem to be doing anything about it.

Did it strike anybody in the head? Your case is circumstantial and irrelivant councilor. :D

What is "circumstantial" about it? And you mis-spelled counselor, commentator. :)

Tough game. Quakes were outplayed by Dallas and were lucky to tie the game late. Bruce doesn't seem to care for a tie and went for the win. Didn't work. Not a bad strategy as one point doesn't mean much.

During the game, I told my wife that the team isn't pressing as much which is impacting the speed of their game. When they tried to speed up and find an outlet, they made a lot of poor passes.

Overall, bad game from Beau with a give away on the first goal and a poor PK. Game of the week goal didn't overcame and overall poor game. Worse, was Viera and Harkes in the first half. Harkes did play better as the game progressed.

Team is pressing and is struggling. It appears Timo may be back for Portland which would help a lot.

Poor game by the center official. He didn't control the game and was inconsistent with his calls.

The thing about tie vs. loss is that it’s just 1 point difference for you but your opponent gets 3, so it’s worse than 1 vs. 0 points. Dallas is a team we’ll be in direct competition with for seeding.

Bruce didn’t really want to go for the win after tying and he was not happy with his team for playing undisciplined at the end and giving up the winning goal. Vieira kind of fell on his sword and said he should have been more vocal about remaining disciplined. The problem is you’ve got all those attacking players in there and the idea is to get the tying goal but after the tying goal they’re still in there and their instinct is to continue to attack. Vieira said they were “too excited” about trying to get the win.

I finally caught The last Dallas goal...which was another massive learning experience. We have a free kick up field with Vierra and Bouda as deep contain... bouda contests the long ball pops it up, Vierra partially clears...at that point Benji is back but wide... he might have been able to quickly step up and trap the attacker but, he doesn't have that defensive savvy awareness yet...the main culprit is Bouda he clicked off standing there with his hand in the air calling for a foul on Vierra...pretty bad fundamental lapse, especially at Pro level...have to stay engaged through the whole sequence no matter what. Hopefully we clean these learning moments up by the end of
    Season.

i feel the Quakes have become overly reliant on calling for fouls.
