I think he got smacked in the face as the guy ran by him. He was holding his face. Maybe it was more of a brush instead of a smack, or maybe he was acting.

Well we’re playing pretty bad again. I think the main reason is again is not winning 50/50 balls. It got a little better later in the half but just like almost every time the ball is pinging around Dallas comes up with it. The only one who’s consistently fighting well for those is Ricketts, and Vieira finally threw a shoulder and got one. Dallas is having too much joy in our box.

Bouda is limited on the right because he doesn’t want to use his left foot. I like him better on the left. We could move Ricketts back to LB, Bouda to the left and Marie or Fernandez on the right.

 

We are seeing glimmers of what the Quakes had before. In the last 2 games, they’ve lost a lot of discipline, and now they look too used to playing last ditch defense.

I guess I didn’t appreciate enough what Niko brought to the team.
