Wondo definitely had his chances to get the Golden Boot.

The 4 goals in the first half was a great surprise, but the second half followed the season's script. I know the Quakes conceded a goal right at half time, but the Quakes came out flat and stayed flat. There is no excuse for that.

A win, but another game that shows that the team cannot play 90 minutes because they are not 90 minutes fit.

    Thats the coach. Fire Frank.

So, Wondo doesn't get the Golden Boot even though he ties with DeRo?

Off season started a few weeks ago in all honesty. But now it's time to focus on the Sharks full time.

Sharks are off to a slow start too. But I don't think they're in trouble though. Hey, at least Niners and Raiders are carrying the Bay right now...

Actually the Sharks won 4-2 tonight too and looked a lot more like their old selves. But yea the Niners are definitely surprising. The Raiders on the other hand may have just hit the wall with Campbell going down and Carson Failure coming in.

No, postgame. There will be many postseason threads where we can complain about other stuff. This thread is for complaining about our lame second half.

Obviously no one has anything to say about tonight. We won, but in the end it was another disappointment because we played much worse in the second half and Wondo fell short. Story of the season.

It was a win that felt too much like a loss. A lot of chances that didn't get finished (especially Wondo's) and a second half that underscored many of our team's deficiencies, from Ramiro (more off than his usual offness) to lack of fitness.

On the other hand, lots of nice touches including the ceremony for Troy, the fan of the game commemoration, and all the fan gifts. And my section won In & Out again! Plus win pin #4!

If no one else wants to talk about it, I can have an analysis with myself.

P.S. I never settle, and if I did, it would not be down.

Stanford is Top Ten and SJSU is having a good season compared to the last several years and has a legit shot at the WAC title if they continue to improve (3-4 to date).

    Have to agree. Doyle,too.

Our F.O.is too friggin' complacent, as well! To worried about the correct formula for selling merchandise as opposed for building a quality club

    BRING BACK JOHNNY MOORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll bite. We looked good in the first half, great actually.

But in the second half, not so much.

Why didn't Frank sub for Corrales after Corrales got hurt? I mean really? It's the last game of the season, he's clearly hurt, pull him! You're up 4 to 1 at that point. Yank Ramiro, just in case it's serious, and put in Ring! But Frank said something (TV interview) about letting the guys play together, like he's trying to develop team chemistry now. WTF?! He has sucked at this all season, and then suddenly decides that he wants "this group" of guys to play together? And why is Corrales in that group?! He's awful!

And then he brings on Ellis for like five minutes at the end. What a freaking joke. Frank clearly does not know how to manage a game, or how to adjust to adversity in a game. Or even how to adjust to good fortune in a game. It's like he's programmed and can't think of anything else to do.

So once again, poor game management by Frank. It didn't bite us of course, because the guys put four away in the first half, but it was still stupid. Maybe we can snag Marco Ferruzzi or Drew Keeshan from FCKD to coach us?

We need a change that's for sure. I just fear that Frank will allowed to screw up this team even more before he's finally shown the door.

    I want to puke.

    GOOOOOO QUAAAAAAAKES!!!!!!!
    Fire Frank!!
