Wondo and somebody else up top please.

And would one of our right mids please get healthy?

On that note, is Robles a center midfielder or a winger? We could try him at RM and move Beta or Leitch into right back.

Just as soon as he is healthy (and hopefully not before) I think we'll see GJoey back at right wing.

Joey Gjertsen has so far shown to be the current generation's Ian Russell / Brian Mullan.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

Glen should definitely get the start alongside Wondo. Not that Glen has done anything spectacular this year, but he cannot be any less effective than RJ.

    Busch should start in goal.

Even if that's the case I hope they find a way to keep Joe involved with the team. The guy bleeds blue.

I hope to see 3 Salvadorans play in this game. Chances don't seem promising though.

In reverse order, YES, Robles is right-side middie. He's the "creative right-side midfielder" that Doyle promised us in the off-season. So yeah, Robles on the right if Gjoey is not fully, 100%, completely healed, fit, and totally ready to go.

And let's have Beta at right back. We need to have some speed on the backline and Leitchie, sadly, does not have the speed that he used to.

I could go for Wondo and Sealy up front, but I don't think that Sealy is healthy right now. So how about Wondo and Glen?

Really, what we need to do is trade away one or two of our many mediocre forwards and get one guy who is really good, and you know, not in his middle 30's and an injury problem like um ... what's his face.

    GO QUAKES!!
    5-4-3 so far ...

    What three Salvadorans?

Sanchez is the only Salvadoran player on the squad, unless you want to count Arturo, who plays for the El Salvador Nats. Still, that's only two.

Robles is Argentinian. Eduardo is Brazilian. André Luiz is also Brazilian, but he's on season ending IR.

Give us a lineup. Oh, and I'd like to see Sanchez on the pitch too. In fact, if we assume that Sealy, Alvarez, Eduardo (does he really exist?), and Gjoey are out with injuries, then I want to see this:

    - - - - Glen - - - - Wondo
    Convey - - Cronin - - Robles
    - - - - - - Sanchez
    Ramiro - Ike - Burling - Beta
    - - - - - - TheJon

I think that gives us more speed, more control in the center of the pitch, speedy defense in Beta, and Robles looked pretty aggressive and he can actually pass the ball well with either foot! Glen and Wondo is sort of an experiment, but we need more fire power up front. We have to do something.

Oh one more thing. We are currently 5-4-3. After this home match, we have two on the road. This is a Must Win Game. We don't need a draw, and certainly can't afford a loss at home. We have to win this one. We haven't won a league game in the last four tries.

    GO QUAKES!!
    5-4-3 so far ...

I don't think this will work at all well. It may be the best we can do given injuries, but these two players need to play the same position/way to do well.

This may be so, but how's that RJ and Wondo pairing working out? Could we play Eduardo and Wondo?! Oh wait! No we can't.

We could try Robles and Wondo, but they are both shortish and not exactly target players.

I don't think it's optimal, and I'd play Sealy before Glen, if Sealy were healthy, which he's not. So yeah, for this game, I want to see Glen and Wondo up top to start.

    Go Quakes!!

Actually, I think he had the hip injury before. So he's not actually getting different ones each week, he's recycling them now.
