With the way Seattle just thrashed Chivas, this is a game we should look forward to. However, they've shown that they only need a couple of opportunities to get a goal on the board. If our back line can clamp down on their offensive weapons, this game should be a cake walk.

I didn't see that Seattle - Chivas match, but apparently it wasn't nearly as lopsided as the score indicates. Chivas actually created a lot of chances and seemed to be happy with their offense. But their defense was very bad. Unfortunately our old friend Bobby Burling was burned multiple times. Seems like Califf has some nagging injury of some kind so Burling got a start.

Chivas USA's midfield is one we should completely overrun. LA and Seattle did it the past two weeks, and it cut off their head (agudelo and angel), then you divide their sputtering defense with their outside backs who have a hard time covering speedy wingers......which is exactly our cup of tea. Califf was benched last week they are certainly struggling there. We play the same way we did against Colorado we should mow them over like grass.

This is what I want. I hate the GoatShaggers, even though they no longer employ Atiba Harris. Maybe I'll get over it one day, but right now, I want our guys to stomp them into the ground six or seven to nil. I want a blow out of epic proportions. But I'll be happy with any win.

And we'll have El Muma and Lionheart back, yes? and Jason will be back. How far off is Salinas?

    Yeah, we should destroy them.

    GOOOOO QUAAAAAAKES!!!!!!

It is a trap game, because while Chivas is one of the worst home teams in MLS history, they have managed the bunker and counter pretty well on the road.

We'll need to get that early goal like we did against Colorado.

On the other hand, Chivas has to play midweek, so there's a real chance that we're just going to thrash them silly.

Yep, makes it an easy decision for Frank. Otherwise I think he may have taken the opportunity to sit Morrow for a game or two.

This should be an easy to win game, however I hope our boys aren't over confident with this one.

I agree. There were games that we played against goalie who had the game of their lives. Just nothing would go in. Hit the post, near misses. I hope we don't have to resort to sending countless crosses into the box with Gordan and Lenhart on the field at the same time for the last 10 min. Plus, our defense did make mistakes and got punished.

Get an early goal and pace ourselves to secure the win.
