It's only what we deserve. We've been, by far, the better team, outside of a misplaced pass in the 9th minute...

Don't put words in my mouth.
Didn't say we're pathetic. But at home we need to do better at finishing. We're on top because of some very amateur defending.

I mean sure, but this is currently one of the best attacking trios in MLS and if this result holds we will be in first place. Things aren’t that dire lol

edit: as soon as I posted that, Judd hit a clean finish

I mean, it looks like a video game. When you're playing FIFA against the Semi-Pro computer.

I don't feel sorry for Austin. What cynical, borderline dirty soccer

I don't think they were doing any "cheap shots", but they definitely were flopping around trying to get people carded... Very cynical for sure.

Im watching it in Spanish and the guys are kinda freaked out that it's 14 minutes. They kind of made a joke about what else can be said in a 5-1 game with so much added time :)

With Vancouver Whitecaps FC idle today, the San Jose Earthquakes (8-1-0, W-L-D) at 24 points now officially lead the MLS Supporters’ Shield race.

This is also the first time since 2005 that the Earthquakes have won five consecutive games. :D

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

Ok he *could have* had a hat trick. I think those were 3 big chances. It happens. Otherwise he played well.

Where the hell did they get 14 minutes. I don’t think I’ve seen one that long and I don’t remember that much dead time. I thought maybe it was supposed to be 4 and someone made a mistake.

Anyway I don’t know if I’ve seen a team give up like that. Playing a low block when you need 4 goals? Just watching the Quakes stand there with the ball? You gotta at least try to get the ball. I guess they just wanted to limit the damage to their GD. A total white flag.
