I was gonna say - need to rotate the lineup a bit on Wednesday but Bruce may be thinking - let's make sure to win the home game and take our chances on the road in St. Louis. But OTOH we might do better with some rotation. Some of the Phoenix USOC starters may get starts: Skahan, Fernandez, Buck, Romney, ...
He’s a player that plays E2 games but I don’t consider him an “E2 player” per se. He’s on the 1st team roster, and has been on the Quakes bench in multiple MLS games this year. Ans after the way he played against Phoenix I doubt he’d get a start in an MLS game.
Yeah guys with MLS contracts don't count. You can only play the short-term Next Pro callup card 4x a year, but I don't think there's anyone with Quakes II who would make sense barring some kind of disastrous string of injuries. Kwende looks ok, maybe he could provide LB bench cover in a pinch, or Tomo if/when Judd gets suspended. And then there are the "off-roster homegrowns" (Rajagopal, KK, Mendoza) who fall into a separate bucket but not sure there is any utility for them at the moment.

Little nervous. A mid-week game after a big win on the road against a team which hasn't shown much yet this year. Go Quakes!
This is the type of fixture that historically the Quakes have played down to their level of competition. Let's go, Quakes, and keep your feet to the pedal.
