I was curious as to what Quincy was up to these days. He always had a lot of interest in entrepreneurship. Welp, a bit of everything:

    According to LinkedIn:

Perfect Soccer CEO | Coach | Consultant | Farmer ‍

"Perfect Soccer" is something he's had for quite a while - "The Perfect Soccer Team Will Use Soccer As A Vehicle To Create Over 1 Billion Self Disciplined, Self Sufficient, Focused, Goal Oriented Individuals."

Then he's doing some private coaching, both soccer training and "mentality coaching". But then, he's also into sustainable farming, and is COO of "AmarikwaAcres". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :)

I always liked Quincy, and I'm pretty sure he was doing Perfect Soccer when he played here.

Yes, he was. I think linkedin says "Perfect Soccer" has been going for 13 years. I've wonder if he's reached "1 billion" "Self Disciplined, Self Sufficient, Focused, Goal Oriented Individuals" yet. That's like the entire population of China. You want to have stretch goals, but that might be a bit much.

Does anyone have a quakes parking pass they can sell me? A friend is coming to the game with me but needs to drive separately. I tried to buy one thru my rep, but I guess she’s swamped with organizing the pre-game party. And I can’t see any way to do this in the account manager.
    thx

As a former STH at BS and Avaya, after the Mikael Stahre fiasco I swore I would never give Fisher a dime of my money. Well today I’m breaking that promise and attending tonight’s game (birthday gift from my wife). It was either a Quake’s game or a Sharks game and I went with the Quakes. Sitting in 105, our seasons tickets were in 106.

I think the only Quakes player on the roster now who was on the team in 2018 is Nick Lima.

2018 was the last time I attended a match, so will be interesting to see, and feel, if the vibe at the stadium had changed and to see how Avaya/Paypal stadium is holding up. Will be parking in the tailgate lot.

Hoping for a win. Also praying Fisher is out by the start of next season.

Now to figure out where I put my jersey, hat and scarf.

The Stahre fiasco was more on Jesse Fioranelli than Fish, but Fish hired Jesse so I guess you can say it was Fish indirectly.

Jesse was certain he’d hired a great manager who was gonna solve our problems when he hired Stahre and his “bearing walls” theory of soccer. Also our big signing that year was Magnus, who was also terrible that year playing on the wing. Not to mention Qwiberg, who was gonna solve our left back problems but wound up getting almost no 1st team minutes. It was Jesse’s big Swedish Movement that year and it failed spectacularly. But that was Jesse’s MO generally - to sign players from second level (non-big 5) euro leagues.

So Colorado and Salt Lake need to lose and the Quakes need to win in order to get into the play in game?

2 of 3 things have to happen: Dallas loses in VC, CO loses or ties to LAFC, RSL loses to St. Louis.

Fortunately, for home games you have the option of switching to home announcers!

This is only one game, but it's definitely going to shade how I view this season.

Even if we don't make the playoffs as a result, a win would put us at 41 points, which is almost double last year's points and we would have shown that we could win with everything on the line. And we would have exceeded last year's home wins, if even by just 1 more win.

If we lose, it'd be, what, 11th place or so and no more home wins than last year, and only 16 more points, and we would have failed to win an entirely winnable game when it meant the most.

I have, as of 1 pm PDT gameday, a couple pairs of freebie tickets in different sections, each pair gratis to someone who can’t otherwise go to the game. Preference if you can you use both tickets in a given pair.

    PM me. Thanks.

Daniel not even on the bench? I think I'd take Montali over Earl.

But both Beau and Bouda are starting. I think that's a first? They will be tearing it up and the ball will never even get close to our keeper.

With Edwards in goal, It’s almost like Bruce wants to make sure our season is over.
