Looks like we may have our first Vietnamese American Supervisor, Betty Duong. Votes are still being tabulated but she's leading the race and poised to take over as District 2 Supervisor. She was Chavez's chief of staff so maybe she will provide some continuity by supporting and championing this proposal. Or, as someone who spent part of her childhood living in Section 8 housing, she may have other priorities for how the fairgrounds land gets used. If he still has a pulse, let's get him! He probably played for Bruce in USMNT. BTW, while we're on the subject of "pandering", this HG kid Rohan Rajagopal looks pretty good. I think he's 16 or 17 and has had some pretty positive outings with The Town in limited minutes at the end of the season. He's a d-mid. The south bay has a significant Indian-American community. I wonder if they'd be interested in seeing an Indian-American player.
Let's start with pandering to our Vietnamese American neighbors. Cindy Chavez's replacement will be Vietnamese American either way. Betty Duong is in a race against Madison Nguyen, she too is a Vietnamese American, so CL...if you're listening, send our crack scouting team to Hanoi, pronto!
Here's the Rohan Rajagopal highlight video I was talking about. I think this might be his first start. It's all from one game. Pretty impressive. He also spoke at the county meeting on the fairgrounds project.

50,000/335,000,000 (0.000149) vs 3/150 (0.02) Ceres has a population of 50k, the US population is 335 million There has been six US rosters announced (15, 16, 17, 19, 20, MNT), with about 25 players each, and there are three guys from Ceres: Orion, Chance, and Cade (this doesn't account for a handful of players on each roster being foreign residents who are US eligible)
