Wow steep price for such a low level team. Padres games can be had cheaper.

If you sign up for their email list, they always send out a flyer that you can show at the door and you only have to pay $5 for the games. Either way, tonight's game got forfeited so they're going to the next round.

i guess so. maybe they couldn't reserve an npsl-approved field until they'd won?

Then they shouldn't have registered to host.

Probably doesn't help that San Diego is surrounded by fire. I'm sure that limits the usage of a pitch when it is ablaze.

They waited too long to schedule something, even before the fires.

Apparently the US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista reached out to the Flash and said they could host the event but US Soccer said it was too late.

Sucks for Flash fans that the org is so badly run.

Not that strange. Air quality in the north county is pretty poor right now because of all the fires. The further from the fires the better.

You're right, this is technically a Force home game. Wonder what gives with having the game 100 miles from their home region.

    RIP Clent Alexander:

OK, this from his Facebook page and from a Onassis Nixon:
Clent passed away yesterday at 5pm in a local area hospital, he had gone in with a leg infection which had gotten worse and developed a blood clot. The clot was severe and required his leg to be amputated. Clent was doing well after the amputation, however his blood pressure became weak and continued to decrease, and he did not recover. I am certain additional information will come out shortly today and tomorrow for details of the services. Once I hear back from his family I will provide whatever information I can.
