another option i reaed in the arsenal fourm is that if he's father is able to retain gainful employment in england galindo can continue to work in the youth squads of arsenal and after a period get his eu pass. This all sound like very good options but... I am not buying my Arsenal shirt untill i read on the official website.

He will have no problem getting capped on the NT.

so is the player exempt from this rule if he is given a "special" permit?

Yea, but in order to get that permit is to prove he is worthy, meaning he is the next 'big thing'. Getting a NT cap will help, and some other people to vouch for him... hopefully he can get it, or his dad can find a job there, maybe working for arsenal?

    Who knows.

    No problemo :)

We do have really bad injuries that's caused us to struggle this year.

I'll watch this lad with envious eyes over the next few years from what I've heard. Let's face it, if Arsene Wenger likes him...he is a sure quality player!

I'm shocked that Facetas Deportiva hasn't announced "Galindo to Arsenol!". Theyve had a tedbid here and there, but I'll have to admit that when resources are available, they do pretty good in terms of not OVER EXAGERATING; at least with the Galindo status.

2018 or 2022 is going to be fabulous for Bolivia!

Surely we can't be talking about the same FD that I know of. They jump the gun on absolutely everything and they're the last to know about transfers from el exterior not to mention all the inaccuracies they report without confirming. They're terrible, but unfortunately it's the standard:(

^^^LOL Yep. They might as well be another star magazine.

They just take wild rumors and print them and soemtimes add shit to them.

I take facetas like all bolivian media, fun to read but only believe it when it is confirmed wtih a signing of a player and his presence at a player presentation.

THats why I'm saying I'm SHOCKED that they haven't jumped the gun yet.

Normally, they jump the gun on alot of things. They obviously report on a good hint of the truth, but it's unfortunate that sometimes it doesn't correlate with what ends up happening.

Well, whether it's rumors or over-exaggeration, it looks like everyone is jumping on this.

LOL, crack reporting as always. No mention of the work permit dilemma or the fact that most likely he'll end up in Spain not in Arsenal as the title indicates.

Anyways, I can't be too hard on them, I guess they try their best. Locally they do fine enough but when it comes to outside of Bolivia they're a total disaster.

I still cringe at the time we were going to play Ireland and they posted that their coach had just been fired and left it for several days. Unfortunately for them no one bothered to find out the coach who got fired was the Northern Ireland DT:eek:

All this reporting is a copy and paste of the Facetas report. I've been reading plenty of blogs and blogs with more inside knowledge of the situation and all read the same. HE NEEDS HIS PERMIT or else he goes somewhere else, loaned till the end of the season to get him on board. The one constant througout is that Galindo is with Arsenal's team right now. All they have to say is this: (please think of it with an english accent)

"For bloody hell, what more proof do ya need, he's Bolivian for Christ sakes, would WE waiste our time and money if he was Bolivian. That alone should tell you he's SPECIAL"

    the court: PERMISSION GRANTED

the rep: Thank you my Lords.

Wasn't Shakhtar in champions while M3 was there? I don't know if he played but Galindo wont be playing CL anytime either, but I hear you:cool:

I hope his visa goes through but it's looking like he's going to spain either way. It's going to be very important to see what team he ends up in. You know the old saying, out of sight out of mind, and if he gets caught up in the shuffle of some mid table la liga team it could be bad news.

Either way, whoever the next DT for our national team is needs to give him a senior cap so he gets to Arsenal as fast as possible.
