    6th place Samp is hosting the 10th place Giallorossi. Samp is coming off a 1-1 draw with Parma on the road and Roma lost to Palermo at home. I would say that Sampdoria has the momentum. I see Samp winning 2-1.

    1. Sampdoria just played on Thursday vs. Lens.
    Tough game (they lost it narrowly), and I expect
    that they may be tired;

    2. Our injury crisis is just that.

    Who knows what will happen? It seems our ideal
    first XI never play together though . . . .

    Spalletti may have to start 16 year old Stefano Okaka Chuka :eek: in this game because every striker is out.

    totti has no one to help him out on this team, besides maybe de rossi and perotta sometimes, he held the ball every time he got it, and didnt bother passing it for some reason. flachi played pretty good even if he is a diver

    Actually he is italian. He is born in Italy, his parents are nigerians. I could understand why he could choose Nigeria (if nigerian laws allow dual citizenship), I hope not given he seems to be a big talent.

    Totti was a lone striker today. The goal he scored today was unusual for him, that was a Inzaghi/goal-poacher goal.

    Thanks for the highlights, Shawshank.

    I would just like to note that Totti played with
    an injury today, as he's done in the past.

    Grande, il nostro capitano. ;)

    Everytime Totti touched the ball against Samp something good cam of it. Despite the injury he was among the best on the pitch (as always). Perotta has certainly turned his game around this year, from what I have seen at least. He seems to be more competent on the ball than before and is more than capable of charging forward with the ball. Had a few penetrating runs against Samp. De Rossi was also a monster today and IMO the best Roma player. Mexes was also huge, helping the hapless Doni out of trouble.

    Roma paid dearly IMO for Chivu's mistake. There is no question that Chivu pushed Flachi but he had no need to as Flachi still had to turn to get any sight of the goal and seemed to be headed out of the area to make a play. Although Flachi certainly overplayed the theartics to not only get the PK but also his celebration after the goal.

    Samp's fortress of a stadium is a tough place to come and play but Roma always had the upper hand in my mind and could have done better than the draw.

    One thing I have to ask all Roma fans because you guys must know something I dont know. Why in the devil is Doni your starting 'keeper????? Curci the teenager is much much better than him and has experience from playing last year. He cant be injured because he played in that Uefa Cup game a couple of rounds ago to great effect. I mean what is the kid to do not only is he more talented that Doni but is also more assured between the sticks and can perform at levels Doni can never hope to reach. What in the hell is going on here. This seems like a bit of mis management on Spalletti's part to me. Hopefully you guys know something to prove me wrong because Doni is only dragging down what is an otherwise very talented alibeit ill tempered squad.
