Let’s hope it all goes well. He will be teammates with Bladimir Diaz.
A few notes and updates. *Harold Osorio currently is as of right now in El Salvador still working out visa issues so he can officially join Chicago Fire II. *Pablo Punyed played the entire game and scored a goal as Vikingur cruised to a 9-0 thrashing of Leiknir Reykjavik. By the looks of it they are trying to solidify second place and a run at the cup. *Erick has captured the starting role for Alajuelense they beat Alianza 1-0 in CONCACAF League. Moves *Stephanie Zuniga is headed to FAS ending her journey abroad hopefully for the short term. She is joining since FAS is trying to revamp its squad since they will participate in international competition. https://www.elsalvador.com/deportes...fas-interclubes-uncaf-costa-rica/993504/2022/ *Abigail Lopez (Alianza) and Maggi Segovia (FAS) are headed towards Real Estelí ex club of Samaria Gomez. This is a step up for the two of them as the local league it’s really just those Alianza and FAS who dominate everything. https://www.elsalvador.com/deportes...gail-lopez-real-esteli-nicaragua/995427/2022/ *No word as of yet on Brenda Ceren last I posted she is still in Mexico possibly working out details with Atlas.

It’s been real great seeing women go abroad these last few years now if only international competition was more common placed they can grow together.
1 year after suffering an ACL tear, Amando Moreno returned to the field and scored a brace for New Mexico United His teammate Justin Portillo scored via PK, however the team ended up tying 3-3. 3 goals get @NewMexicoUTD a massive point 3-3 draw at San Diego Loyal@TinPortillo @Amando_moreno score for the Black & YellowUnited chasing a playoff berth with 2 matches left at The Lab Wednesday and Saturday@KOB4 @USLChampionship pic.twitter.com/Qp81JajJ7X— Brandon Ortega (@Brandega) October 10, 2022

Congratulations to new father Josh Perez who gained Italian citizenship through his wife. Hope to see him playing again in Italy soon. I’m a bit concerned with Tomas Romero, who last year was a starter for LAFC and is now a second-choice keeper at Las Vegas Lights.
I told you he has been getting blown up in each of his starts. The battle for second keeper is wide open and all the candidates suck.
I guess LAFC saw something he was lacking because they went heavy for GK during the off-season which ended his time with LA (for now.) Ordaz hasn’t had a good run either for Vegas I know he’s young as well but man these guys were pretty touted.
After failing to qualify for the USL Championship Playoffs, FC Tulsa announced that Ronald Rodriguez will not continue with the club next season.
That’s another defender who’s stint was short. I believe he should try the Claros route and see if he can find a club in the third or lower end of the second division. Issue is he’s 24 so either he makes an attempt to stay abroad or we can chalk him up as plateaued if he returns to El Salvador.
Tomas Romero won the 2022 MLS Cup with LAFC. However, he did not play or make the bench at all. The first choice goalkeeper, Maxime Crépeau, was red carded and replaced by John McCarthy. Jairo played the full match and picked up a yellow.

I think some of the guys that went the mls/usl route for us would have so much better in their careers had they gone to South America. Jairo especially would have done much better down there
Tomas Romero will not continue with LAFC. Nathan Ordaz is still under contract for 2023, however. LAFC Announces Roster Moves For 2023 Season Which of our players have enjoyed success in South America in recent memory?
None but I think if Jairo went to a team that fit he could have a chance. I think a few others in the past also might have had a decent run down there. There have been some Panamanians that have made their whole careers in South America that make me feel like some of our guys could as well
Erick Rivera wasn’t doing so bad in Bolivia until the somewhat abrupt departure. I think aiming for say Peru, Bolivia or Venezuela should be a goal for now. I can’t see them hanging in leagues like Argentina or Brazil. Interestingly enough our guys have had an easier time getting in Ecuador albeit not the desired players in all honesty. I mean come on Lester and Henry managed to finesse there way to clubs why can’t our younger guys.
