Turcios the only one who adapted and had the mentality to work also the only one on that list that won something in Europe prior to Punyed. Sadly nothing you could do about home sickness and that decision led to his career ending soon after.

Sure enough hours later it comes back to me the only real news we ever got was about him trialing for Sporting KC but it didn’t work out and he went back to Iceland to find another club.

Probably either got homesick, didn’t like Mexico, or just wanted to return to a familiar area with familiar teammates.

He was getting no game time at Pachuca he could get more at Loudoun because he knows their coach plus he is an academy product, it’s also more realistic that he cracks the 1st team in the MLS than Liga MX.

According to SelectaTalent, Christian Sorto and Nelson Martinez of Loudoun United are both of Salvadoran origin.

That’s 4 Salvadoran-Americans at Loudoun United; Saravia, Sorto, Martinez and now Cerritos.

Omar Campos is no longer listed with the club. Miguel Palafox is no longer listed with Las Vegas Lights either.

Juan Barahona of Sacramento Republic has been listed in starting XI of USL Championship Team of the Week.

D – Juan Barahona, Sacramento Republic FC: Barahona completed 21 of 28 passes, had three chances created and recorded the assist on Republic FC’s game-winning goal against the Portland Timbers 2.

So Rugamas is playing in the Thai second division. Sadly the most they can do is stay away from relegation honestly they currently sit at 26 points while the leader is nearly double that.

Oh Cerritos. Sucks where he ended up but like I have said in the past, Mexico is a waste of time for our players. It still amazes me how Denis Pineda managed to luck out and not lose his career.

I'm pretty sure Bernardo Majano ended up in Loudon team too.

But you see where Richard Menjivar ended up after all that career...in El Salvador with Aguila. I would rather R.Cerritos Jr. go to ES League.

“Ended up”. Alexis is only 18; he hasn’t even begun his career. Mexico is supposed to be a stepping stone seeing as LigaMX is better than LMF, but our players just don’t succeed there.

All I could find from Bernardo Majano is that he’s with an amateur club in VA called Virginia United FC. Another 2013 U-20 WC player whose career never took off.

It’s about time Richie went to ES. He had been moving around NASL/USL for too long.

Well the reason he hadn’t gone to El Salvador and stuck around the states these last 2-3 year was due to a family member being ill (his brother iirc) so he was trying to help him out.

Tomas Romero has once again set another club record at Bethlehem Steel. If he keeps this up, he may potentially get promoted to MLS affiliate Philadelphia Union in the future.

TOMAS ROMERO EARNS 2ND CAREER CLEAN SHEET BEHIND 12 SAVES, STEEL FC WIN FIRST EVER MATCH AT LOUISVILLE

Two weeks prior to this, Tomas Romero and Christian Sorto both made USL Team of the Week.

GK – Tomas Romero, Bethlehem Steel FC: Romero became the fourth-youngest player to record a shutout in Championship history with eight saves against Hartford Athletic on Friday night.

F – Christian Sorto, Loudoun United FC: Sorto scored a pair of goals on his professional debut, completed 8 of 10 passes and won 5 of 6 duels after coming on as a substitute in Loudoun’s 2-1 victory on Friday night against ATL UTD 2.

Romero is only 18 he will prob stay at least 2 more years in the B team, he is a great prospect though.

Most likely. Bethelhem Steel are outside of the top 10 in USL Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia Union are currently in 1st place in MLS. Romero probably won’t become Philly’s first choice keeper just yet.

Isn't Andre Blake their first choice? He's one of the better keepers in the region let alone, MLS.

That’s what I was thinking as well. Romero isn’t taking his place anytime soon.

Tomas Romero has, once again, been included in USL Team of the Week; as well as achieving Player of the Week.

GK – Tomas Romero, Bethlehem Steel FC: Romero recorded an 11-save shutout – tied for the most saves in a shutout in Championship history – as Steel FC defeated Louisville City FC 1-0 at Slugger Field.

He seems to be really good. If Philly doesn't open up I'm sure another club within MLS will take notice.

Allexon Saravia of Loudoun United got called up to MLS affiliate DC United, and played in their friendly against Marseille. They lost 8-1.

According to Transfermarkt, and in case anyone still cares, Marvin Baumgartner is still playing football. He is at Swiss amateur club FC Embrach.

Man I remember being excited about him and fellow Salvadoran-European Alvaro Fey-Rivas back in the day.

Enrico Hernandez in the post above me looks exciting. Looking forward to see what’s in store for him.

So Lester is headed back to Costa Rica. He is headed to ADR Jicaral who sits in 8th place (1-1-1 record).
