So I am struggling to find any coaches in first and second division abroad in any league (outside of El Salvador). Does that suggest we are not producing any quality coaches, or they prefer coaches that are argentinian-brazilian or Colombian, or mixture of both? Which is a very unfortunate
Angel Orellana will be coaching Club Ameria Salcaja, god on him for trying his hand abroad, why are their no salvadoran coaching abroad even at small leagues such as Belize, Nicaragua or wherever.
Jorge Zarco Rodriguez was announced as new coach of Guatemala team Coban Imperial External Links: https://www.elgrafico.com/futbol/Jo...o-en-el-Coban-de-Guatemala-20190604-0013.html
Jorge Zarco Rodriguez is continuing to show he is a pretty decent coach, he is four out of four with Coban Imperial, they have won all four games and remain leader External links: https://www.elsalvador.com/eldiariodehoy/video-el-zarco-rodriguez-sigue-perfecto/631685/2019/
Hope DLC resigns and hopefully call Hugo Perez to come in. He's more than capable of turning this team around.
I am still hoping we get Lara or Roca back so it isn’t completely starting over but obviously neither will come back. This time it really hurts because we had the players and the path to make the hex but our self inflicted wounds once again come back and hold our program down. We need a better system for determining who runs the fed, clubs etc. Right now not single club is doing anything interesting to develop the game. There are clubs in Central America, Asia and South America that also have limited budgets they could learn from but in the information age none of them seem interested in trying anything new.
Personally, i still feel we could do well with Zarco. Him and Hugo Perez together could develop a good NT while also bringing in talent that from abroad
Zarco is still going strong in Guatemala. Honestly, i would love to see him in MLS. I think he can do it. Have him take over at DC, or one of the expansion teams. I really believe he can do it. On another note, FESFUT showing their ineptitude AGAIN by letting Hugo Perez go work with MEXICO. MEXICO OF ALL PLACES?!! Ugh. Extremely frustrating.
Angel Orellana took second division Atlético Somotillo all the way to the semi finals of the Copa Nicaragua, Managua FC knocked them out
Looks like one coach from El salvador is coahcing abroad again, with Angel Orellana coaching Uspantán FC in Guatemala third division. External Links: https://www.elsalvador.com/deportes/futbol/tecnicos-legionarios-guatemala-el-salvador/973619/2022/
So what's the current list of coaches abroad, I am happy to include assistant coaches, as I feel coaching is one of the reasons why youth and professional league players have stagnated and why we havent progressed...along with poor field, lack of youth structure etc. I mean Players have stated how different and their improvement with the new training regime and tactics once Octavio Zambrano (FAS) and Eduardo Lara (Colombia) have come to the league. I mean Rodolfo Zelaya who has been coasting the last few years due to sheer talent, looks alot fitter. Current coach abroad Gerson Perez (assistant coach Chicago Fire) Angel Orellana (Uspantán FC third division)
Andres Flores is an assistant coach with the (Timbers 2) team https://www.timbers.com/t2/club/andres-flores
Would be cool if he did become D.C. United's coach. Only players from La Selecta playing there is Mayer or Bryan Gil
