I was just listening to the SLC expansion conference. I didn't listen from the start. I just wanna know if Garber mention anything about the Salary? Or does anyone if MLS is going to increase the salary cap?
He did not mention anything about the salary cap nor do I think he has ever. Every so often information leaks about the salary cap and or players salarys but it never comes directly from the league. I don't think the salary will move much at all this year (like it has not moved much at all in the past). Perhaps once NY and Chicago move into their new stadiums in 2006 the league will have lowered their expenses enough to take on a higher salary cap per team. Andy
