Baird scuffs it wide despite a wide open net!! Man, we are close but we have got to put some of these chances into the back of Albion's net. Otherwise we could be in for a nasty surprise at the end of the match knowing our luck.

Saints have really been dominating play for the past 15 minutes or so. Bale with a freekick about 25 yards out from the WBA goal.

DDDAAAMMMNNN!!! Bale nails the woodwork!! Boy this lad is really terrific at these FKs. Especially since this was on the wrong side for a left footer.

    Still 0-0 after 78' minutes.

Another great piece of commentary from the Saints commentators Cope and Case:

Cope "Hartson can't run for toffees"

Case "If there were toffees there he would "

    :D

Chaplow with a great little chip which was thankfully just wide for the Saints. Totally against the run of play for this half.

Jones on for Rasiak on the 85' minute. Saints with a lot of pace up front now with BWP and Jones.

    Still 0-0.

Well I will give the Albion commentators some credit.

"Jones looks to be running all about, but he has absolutely no touch."

True, true. And that is exactly why we should have kept Blackstock and shipped Jones out.

Jones' header is stop by Robinson after Zubi misjudges the cross.

Well that is it. Saints 0 WBA 0.

Saints really dominated the entire second half and certainly played their best first half of the season so far. Unfortunately we could not convert our several close chances, but at least we didn't give too many good opportunities for WBA.

Unforuntately we have now dropped down to 9th in the standings, but if we had won this match we would have been top of the league!! You have got to love the beginning of the season table watching!! With that said, Saints have five points from its first three matches and now have a week off before they go away to Barnsley next Saturday who are currently one place ahead of us with six points.
